Good to know

Do I need NinjaTrader installed?

No. Nrdvana reads the .nrd files NinjaTrader 8 already downloaded to your machine — you don't need NinjaTrader running, or even installed, to convert them.

Is my converted data really mine?

Yes. Conversion happens entirely on your machine, and the CSV and Parquet you produce are yours to keep and use — even after a subscription ends. Only the converter is licensed.

Which symbols are supported?

Nrdvana decodes the replay format, not a fixed instrument list, so there's no symbol catalog to limit you. Conversion is verified row-by-row against independent reference exports on the major CME families; other symbols work on a best-effort basis. If something won't convert, send it to us — we'll fix it.

Can I automate conversion?

Yes. On Pro and Lifetime, install Nrdvana as a Windows service that watches a folder and converts new replay files automatically. The Server tier goes further: a headless Linux worker that runs anywhere Linux containers run.
